Question: Can i use my charger for phone and camera in the dive shop/resort?

Answer: Yes. The Philippines have 220 V and you can charge with your the charger you bring from home. Normally adapter is not needed but in case you need one we have so that you can borrow in the reception.

Question: Do i need to eat Malaria tablets before going to the Philippines?

Answer: No. does not exist anymore in Moalboal but it is a good idea to use mosquito repellent on your ankles and feet around sunset. That is when the mosquitoes are active

Question: I heard that the Philippines have good dentists and many people take the opportunity to fix their teeth when on holiday?

Answer: Yes. Going to the dentist is surprisingly cheap compared to Europe or USA. A check up with X-ray costs normally around 700 peso and it is about the same to fix a tooth.
Our reception can tell you more about it but the dentist is located in Cebu city so set aside one extra day for a trip to Cebu City if you are planning to visit the dentist

Question: I have my own equipment. Do you have lead and tanks?

Answer: Yes. Tanks and lead is included in the diving price

Question: Can i use my 7 mm wetsuit in Moalboal?

Answer: Yes. but we recommend that you are using a thinner one ( 3 – 5mm) because the water temperature is around 25 degrees C. A thick wetsuit will make you need a lot of weights.

Question: Do you have any dangerous sharks in Moalboal waters??

Answer:No. The sharks around here are White Tip shark, Treasure shark and Whale sharks. All sharks should be treated with respect but these ones are not man eaters and there have been no reports ever in Moalboal of any shark attacks.
