Open Water diver certification
When you choose to do a PADI diving course the Open Water license is your certificate to go diving as an recreational scuba diver.
This is the first level of diving certification – your ticket to exciting adventures in the underwater world. This license enables you to dive to a depth not to exceed 18 meters with a buddy who is also a certified diver, at 100% of all diving destinations in the world!

Experiencing the underwater world. What is involved?
The PADI Open Water courses are divided into modules and consist of five academic sessions – video and lecture, shallow water sessions – amidst the beauty of the Moalboals beautiful surroundings, and then four open water dives in the ocean.
What do I need to start?
Be at least 15 years old and be able to swim.
Visaya divers provides all equipment, boat trips, etc., for the duration of the course Everything you need to become a diver is included in the course fee
Am I fit to dive?
If you don’t suffer from any medical illnesses or are pregnant then you will be able to scuba dive.

How long will it take?
Typically the course takes between three to four full days
Rest assured, we will not rush you through the program. Because the course is performance based, you will have plenty of time to practice your new skills prior to certification.
Advanced Open Water certification
Whether you’re newly qualified or have hundreds of dives logged, the Advanced course and Specialty Diving courses give you the confidence, skills and experience to take your diving to new levels of excitement. What makes your pulse race? What ignites your imagination? Advanced Diver training offers something for everyone. This in-water, performance based course includes two “core” dives: a deep and underwater navigation dive, and three different “elective” dives that may include: boat diving, underwater photography, computer diving, night diving, drift, waves & current diving, etc.

We all know that the place you learn new skills in is in the water. After covering the material with your instructor, you are ready for the fun part of this course – the diving. The course is run in a relaxed manner with the Instructor who offers help, encouragement and expert advice to guide you through the various tasks that will develop a greater awareness of the environment and other excellent skill building exercises.
